Our client is a nationwide provider of specialist design, construction and fit out solutions to a highly profitable market in Australia. They have a talented and well-established internal design studio, creating fantastic workplaces for clients.
We have been exclusively engaged to recruit a talented and creative Architectural Designer to join the team. This is a full time, permanent role and there is substantial opportunity for growth within the business by delivering modern, creative designs for client projects.
Specific duties will involve.
- Work with the design team and follow client briefs to create architectural designs for construction and fit-out projects across Australia. Assist with projects across all stages.
- Work on internal and external concept designs and renders to create efficient and high-quality workspaces.
- Assist with producing documentation through design delivery.
- Manage the design studio and showroom ensuring all products and materials are up to date. Meet with clients when necessary.

Working closely with a skilled and passionate internal team, there is plenty of scope to genuinely add design flair to interesting and diverse projects.
This is a key role in the business and as such would most likely appeal to an architect or interior designer with 4+ years of quality architectural and/or interior design experience gained in Australia. The remuneration on offer will align with your experience.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate.
- Degree or equivalent tertiary education in architecture or interior design.
- 4 years or more of quality architecture and/or interior design experience gained in Australia. Experience of retail, commercial, office, education or healthcare projects will be especially of interest.
- Able to demonstrate good space planning.
- Skilled and experienced with Revit.
- High level of creativity with attention to detail.
- Eligibility to work within Australia.
The role will be based at the Geelong HQ and offers genuine flexibility with regard to working from home and in the office as required.
This is a long-term career role with the opportunity to develop your skills and over time take on more responsibility within the business. The company is offering an attractive remuneration package in line with experience and expectations. Salary will be in the region of $80K to $90K.
