P/T Marketing Consultant – WordPress + Digital

Hill Start International Pty Ltd currently works with clients across two business units, executive recruitment and outsourced sales and marketing. We are rebuilding the outsourced sales and marketing website from the ground up and also creating a new division which requires a new website. Both business units also require input into marketing strategy and execution.

With this in mind, we are looking for a marketing specialist with strong WordPress website creation capability who can consult with the Director and ultimately create two modern and professional websites as well as formulate a digital marketing strategy.

Specific duties will involve;

  • In conjunction with the Director understand requirements to create a modern and responsive WordPress website for the two new divisions. Make recommendations with regard to website functionality, themes, layout, favicon.
  • Create the website.
  • Formulate and implement digital marketing strategy.
  • Review and recommend WordPress plugins to improve functionality of website (e.g. security and SEO).
  • Set up capability to integrate with CRM system (exact CRM system to be decided but likely to be Hubspot) as well setting up contact forms, lead capture and landing pages.
  • Recommend and integrate CRM with email marketing tool.
  • Train the Director in WordPress/website functionality to ensure easy ongoing website administration.
  • Review and recommend similar upgrades to 1 existing recruitment website.

Ideally, you’ll have solid experience building WordPress websites for clients/businesses.

Furthermore, you’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • 2+ years of experience designing/building/creating WordPress websites.
  • Solid technical knowledge of WordPress CMS, including plugins, themes and integrations.
  • Knowledge of how a WordPress website will integrate with a sales and marketing system such as Mailchimp or Hubspot.
  • Digital marketing knowledge and experience. Email marketing, content, social media.
  • Consultative approach to work with us to design and create this website.
  • Able to work from the office in Preston.
  • Eligibility to work within Australia.

There is flexibility as to how this role will operate, perhaps initially on a contract or even freelancer basis (timescale to be negotiable) to fit in with other projects, or even as a consulting assignment as an independent business. I expect it will be 1-2 days per week maybe for a month or two. As long as required for these 2 projects. We have a nice office in Preston, with kitchen and break out areas, which has free on street parking and is easily accessible by public transport (train = Bell/tram = #86).
